My latest EP, 'Sleepy' - out on my own Morii Records 🌤

With this EP I’ve focused on the really chill, vibey and straight up lo-fi side of my Itona project. Each track was written with warmth and cosiness, and relaxing in mind.

This is also the first Itona project to feature live instrument layers. ‘Lullaby’ features the beautiful guitar work of Rich Dicas and working with him on this track was so cool. He’s such a talented musician so it felt pretty effortless. There’ll be more to come from us in the future, 100%.

My personal favourite is ‘One Time’ and it’s probably my favourite Itona track to date. Straight up vibes, very subtle production style and a real nostalgic sound for me. The synths and background ambience remind me of listening to music on tape, sitting there waiting to rewind those tracks I loved. No back skip, just patiently waiting with my Sony cassette player in my hand.
